Have you ever wanted to know how to deliver vocal performances in a live and a studio situation? Have you ever wanted to explore your capability, both vocally and visually when delivering a performance? Or maybe you are already a vocalist and would like to gain a university accredited and industry endorsed qualification in this area?

Created with Emer McParland, a UK based session singer and live performer, this course shows you the steps you need to take to deliver great vocal performances that demonstrate your creativity and your personality.

Once you have completed the online course, you’ll also have the opportunity to gain a University awarded DipLCM Qualification in Creative Vocals. This allows you to use the letters DipLCM after your name and is the first qualification in the world of this kind!

This course can be undertaken by seasoned vocals or those beginning their journey. Anyone will flourish  and learn how to deliver vocal performances in a live and a studio situation. Those who have experience will be able to explore their capability, both vocally and visually when delivering a performance.

For our Accredited Programs you will need access to the following:

  • Access to the internet
  • Desktop or Laptop Computer (Mac OS, Windows 8 upwards or Linux)

Performing Live & In Studio
The art of performing a song in a studio, and a live situation.

Your Qualification
How to gain a university awarded and industry endorsed qualification in Creative Vocals.

The DipLCM qualification is dependent on you submitting content to London College of Music Examinations for assessment, followed by a short online discussion with one of their examiners. See here for syllabus guide: https://lcme.uwl.ac.uk/exams/creative-media/creative-media-qualifications

Yes – the course and assessment are completely online. It is delivered over a 12-week cycle, but should you wish, you have flexibility to learn entirely at your own pace over a 52 week period.

No, you do not have to take the examination, though without the examination you will not receive the qualification DipLCM.

You have exactly one year from your date of enrollment to study & enroll ALL relevant content for your examination. If content is uploaded close to the closing date, the video examination will take place in the next available slot.

If you feel you have just cause to take the examination after the one year expiry date, please email: [email protected] providing all relevant information. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

If you don’t pass the examination, you can apply to retake it. This will involve an exam retake fee only – for details email: [email protected]
