Once the home of the bedroom makeup tutorial, today’s leading vloggers are household names who rake in millions and have a greater impact on sales than traditional celebrities.
Video is already fundamental to Facebook marketing and with the rise in popularity of Instagram stories and LinkedIn’s sponsored video content, it’s never been more crucial to publish engaging and dynamic video content that’s optimized for your target audience.

Vlogging is all about using video to connect you with your audience whoever and wherever they might be. There are so many reasons why developing this skill will help you but perhaps the most important is that it will allow you to share what you have to say or need to say with the world in one of the most powerful mediums available – video.

With the explosive growth of vlogging, thousands are grabbing their phones and  making content. And while it can be that simple, in terms of quality it can be a case of ‘you get what you pay for’.

Whether you are an individual, a brand representative or have your own business, now you can become a professional, qualified vlogger with a University accredited qualification. You will also gain a powerful channel for promoting your business or cause, as well as an opportunity to show off the personal side of your business and its people.

This is the course for people who want to engage with their audience and tell their brand’s story through a visual medium.

Maybe you want to monetise and launch your own successful Social Media brand through multiple channels or you need help to define your market/audience so you can start to develop your vlog in the best way possible for your audience. Or you need to improve your presentation skills for your role.

Maybe you are an influencer and wish to legitimise your brand with a professional qualification or you are a brand representative and you want to promote your products or cause by stepping in front of the camera.

For our Accredited Programs you will need access to the following:

  • Access to the internet
  • Desktop or Laptop Computer (Mac OS, Windows 8 upwards or Linux)

  • We share all the tricks and tips on how to become a professional Vlogger.
  • Gain a greater understanding of the technical side of Vlogging, what is the best equipment on the market to produce the most professional content.
  • How to develop your vlog story. 
  • How to deliver your message and how you want to connect with your audience.
  • Presentation skills, onscreen etiquette, performance rehearsal and interview skills.
  • Guide you through the editing process to help you gain the skills to make your footage engaging.
  • Learn how to set up your channel on youtube. 
  • Understanding of advertising and marketing & how to apply that to your vlog. 
  • How to use your Analytics & vlog Feedback to your advantage. How to deal with negative feedback.
  • The business side of your Vlog by maxmising your PR and be adept at the Finance side of monetizing your vlog.

Yes – the course and assessment are completely online. It is delivered over a 12-week cycle, but should you wish, you have flexibility to learn entirely at your own pace over a 52 week period.

No, you do not have to take the examination, though without the examination you will not receive the qualification DipLCM.

You have exactly one year from your date of enrollment to study & enroll ALL relevant content for your examination. If content is uploaded close to the closing date, the video examination will take place in the next available slot.

If you feel you have just cause to take the examination after the one year expiry date, please email: [email protected] providing all relevant information. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

If you don’t pass the examination, you can apply to retake it. This will involve an exam retake fee only – for details email: [email protected]
